About this bag
Natural tan raffia is worked in plain stitch, and the rim is bound in black to frame the opening. Flat black leather straps work in the hand or on the shoulder, and a black-and-tan raffia tassel hangs from one of them. The straw-and-black balance makes it easy to wear all summer.

Care
I'd wipe it with a damp cloth, never wring it, and let it dry in the shade. Keeping it out of the washing machine is what holds the stitch in shape. Stuffing it with a soft cloth between outings keeps it standing upright, and keeping it out of long direct sun keeps the colour where it started.
