About this bag
Brick-coral raffia is worked in vertical columns of shell stitch, and the light coming through makes the texture read from a distance. Black leather handles are anchored with cross-stitched leather tabs, so a light-looking bag carries a full load. It is a roomy, summery everyday size.

Care
I'd wipe it with a damp cloth, never wring it, and let it dry in the shade. Keeping it out of the washing machine is what holds the stitch in shape. Stuffing it with a soft cloth between outings keeps it standing upright, and keeping it out of long direct sun keeps the colour where it started.
